Year-In-Review

The Board of Directors is pleased to present this annual report to the community and funders. We are proud of the work and successes it reflects for our clients. We thank the staff for their efforts to achieve all that this report represents.

At the governance level, it cannot be said that there is any year that is not busy, but this year has been especially so. Space and Place has been a key priority and activites included completing key site projects including moves in Sturgeon Falls and Parry Sound, and developing the financing for the Northeastern Ontario Family Help and Treatment Centre. We are excited about the prospects of soon having a facility in North Bay that effectively meets the needs of clients and comfortably accommodates our staff. The Board has also invested in staff with a comprehensive Salary Administration review and focused on activities that continue to foster good relations with our service partners and our principal funders: the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

On a personal note I want to thank my fellow Board members for their commitment and wisdom, and all staff for the wonderful work they do.
